Tollywood Box Office Heats Up on Gandhi Jayanti...

The Tollywood box office is preparing for an interesting clash around the Gandhi Jayanti holiday on October 2. Since the festival falls on a Friday this year, filmmakers are looking to make the most of the extended weekend. Venkatesh’s Adarsha Kutumbam AK 47 is reportedly heading for release without any postponement, while fans are also looking forward to the songs composed by Thaman.

Several other films are also targeting the same weekend. Sandeep Kishan’s Sigma, directed by Jason Sanjay, Fahadh Faasil’s Don’t Trouble the Trouble, presented by S.S. Rajamouli, along with smaller films such as Tella Kagitham and Summer Holidays, are expected to compete for audience attention. With big pan-India films including Sree Vishnu’s Comrade Kalyan, Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, Vijay Deverakonda’s Ranabaali and Dhanush’s Om lined up for Dussehra, many medium-budget films appear to be concentrating on the October 2 window. The competition is expected to be strong, but taking on Venkatesh’s film at the box office may not be an easy task for the other releases.
