Kollywood actress Swasika continues to impress audiences with her versatile performances as both a lead actress and character artist. After the success of Karuppu, she is now gearing up for the release of Vanda Devullu, which is set to hit theatres on June 19. The family entertainer stars Vijay Antony in the lead role and is directed by Pichaikkaran fame Sasi. As the film marks the second collaboration between Vijay Antony and Sasi, expectations are high among movie lovers.
Speaking during the film's promotions, Swasika made some candid remarks about the offers she has been receiving from the Telugu film industry. The actress revealed that after portraying a mother’s role in Noorusami, she started receiving several similar offers. However, she said most of them lacked significance and were limited to brief appearances with minimal dialogues. Swasika stated that she is not interested in playing routine mother roles that add little value to the story. She emphasized that she would only accept characters with strong importance and meaningful screen presence, regardless of the remuneration being offered. Her straightforward comments have now gone viral on social media.
