Sanjeev Megoti Claims Non-Participation in Promotions Impacted Film

The upcoming horror-action thriller ‘Police Complaint’, which is set for a worldwide release in Telugu and Kannada on June 12, has found itself in the spotlight ahead of its release. During the film’s pre-release event held in Hyderabad, director Sanjeev Megoti spoke about the challenges faced during the promotional campaign. He stated that despite playing a significant role in the film, actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar allegedly did not participate in promotional activities as expected, which he believes affected the film's visibility.

Sanjeev Megoti said the team had completed the film within 45 days with a large ensemble cast and described it as a unique entertainer built around the concept of “Chain Reaction of Karma.” He claimed that despite providing complete support during production, the team faced difficulties in coordinating dubbing and promotional commitments. Actor Krishnasai also expressed disappointment over the absence of some key cast members from promotional events. However, both reiterated their confidence in the film’s content and expressed hope that audiences would support the movie upon its release.
