Small films typically only get a little promotion, maybe a teaser or trailer release backed by a well-known actor or director, and that's about it. But for the small upcoming movie Jigiris, which comes out on November 14, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has gone above and beyond. Mani Vaka, Ram Nithin, Dheeraj Athreya, and Krishna Burugula play the main roles in the movie. Jigiris is a comedy-drama that follows four friends on an impromptu road trip to Goa in an old Maruti 800. It was directed by Harish Reddy Uppula and produced by Krishna Vodapalli under the Mount Meru Pictures banner.
In addition to sharing the first glimpse of the movie on social media, Vanga also attended the event in person in August to release the teaser. In a rare move from a renowned director who frequently oversees ambitious projects, he spoke kindly about the movie and its crew. During the event, Sandeep reminisced about his childhood friend, producer Krishna Vodapalli, and related a humorous story about how he shot the film's first schedule in Goa without telling him out of concern that Sandeep would dissuade him from taking the chance.
Sandeep has continued to offer his unwavering support as the movie's release draws near. In a recent interview with the Jigiris team, he stated that he would also be present at the pre-release event and trailer launch for the movie. Despite his busy schedule with high-profile films, his sincere support and encouragement for a small-budget project demonstrate his loyalty to friends and humility. The audio teaser for Sandeep's upcoming film, Spirit, which stars Prabhas, Tripti Dimri, Vivek Oberoi, and Kanchana, has already gone viral on social media.
