Planned a Film With Rajamouli After Magadheera - Mahesh Babu Reveals

Superstar Mahesh Babu and global filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli’s highly anticipated film ‘Varanasi’ has already generated massive buzz worldwide. The film stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles. In a recent international podcast, Mahesh Babu opened up about his long-standing association with Rajamouli and revealed that the idea of working together dates back nearly 15 years. He said he met Rajamouli after the release of Magadheera and expressed his desire to collaborate with him.

Mahesh Babu also spoke about his experience of working with Rajamouli. He recalled that some actors and friends had warned him that working with the filmmaker would be extremely demanding. However, Mahesh said he has had a very different experience, with rehearsals, detailed planning and preparation making the shooting process easier and enjoyable. He added humorously that he has become accustomed to Rajamouli’s working style and may find it somewhat difficult to work with other directors in the future.
