

Mega Power Star Ram Charan starrer ‘Peddi’, directed by Buchi Babu Sana and featuring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, has been making strong waves at the box office. The film, produced under the Vridhi Cinemas banner with music by Oscar-winning composer A. R. Rahman, was released on June 4. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the movie has been performing well commercially, earning over ₹345 crore within its first week, as officially confirmed by the makers.
The team has now released another box office update, stating that Peddi has secured the number one position among the highest-grossing South Indian films of the year. The film is currently in its second-week theatrical run, and trade analysts are keenly watching its final lifetime collection. It has also become the highest-grossing solo film of Ram Charan’s career so far, marking a major milestone and a strong commercial success.
