Nandi Awards to Return.. AP Government Gives Green Signal!

Nandi Awards hold a special place in the Telugu film and television industries, recognising the contributions of artists and technicians. The Andhra Pradesh government has now taken steps toward reviving the awards, which had remained pending for several years. The state’s film and television development corporation is also currently handling Nandi-related award activities.

According to Minister Kandula Durgesh, the government plans to conduct the pending award ceremonies along with the 2025 awards. The celebrations are expected to be organised in Vijayawada for film awards and Tirupati for television awards. The government is also working on the process of forming committees for award selection and announcing the awards.
