Aishwarya Lekshmi Quits Social Media.. Here’s the Reason!

Kollywood actress Aishwarya Lekshmi’s decision to completely step away from social media has become a talking point in the film industry. In a recent interview, she opened up about the reason behind the move, making it clear that it was not merely a temporary break. Aishwarya said she was deeply disturbed by the way some people misuse Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create and circulate inappropriate edited photos and videos of celebrities. Staying away from the digital space has given her a greater sense of freedom and peace in real life, she revealed.

Aishwarya also recalled that her manager had warned her about the financial consequences of leaving social media, including the possible loss of brand deals and promotional opportunities. However, she said the mental peace she gained was far more valuable to her than the money she might lose. The actress further revealed that online trolling and negative comments had previously affected her deeply. Reading such comments every day made her feel as though the entire world was against her, eventually leading her to believe that nobody liked her, she said.
