Prabhas’ ‘Fauji’ Release Delayed.. New Date Yet to Be Finalised!

Prabhas’ ‘Fauji’ is one of the most anticipated projects in his upcoming lineup. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the period action drama is set against the backdrop of the 1940s, before Indian independence. Immanvi is playing the female lead, while Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film on a grand scale with Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni as producers. The makers had earlier announced December 3 as the worldwide release date.

However, the film is now facing a delay due to technical reasons. Producer Ravi Shankar addressed the release-date rumours during ‘The Paradise’ pre-release event and confirmed that the shooting and post-production work are taking slightly longer than expected. He said a new release date has not yet been finalised and will be officially announced once a suitable date is locked. Ravi Shankar also assured fans that the delay is intended to ensure a strong final output, adding that the film will feature five songs and present Prabhas on an epic scale.
