Preeti Mukundan, who has earned recognition among Telugu and Tamil audiences by choosing distinctive roles, recently shared interesting details about her journey into acting. After gaining wider appreciation with last year’s film Blast, she has continued to stay busy with new opportunities and is currently working on projects including Anbi Avan and Dashamakan. The actress said that education had always been given top priority in her family.
Preeti revealed that when she was 18 and working as a model, she initially wanted to turn down an audition opportunity because she was afraid of acting and worried that others might laugh at her. However, her parents encouraged her to give it a try and helped her overcome her fears. Although she did not get that first role, the experience sparked her love for cinema. She said the encouragement and confidence given by her parents played a key role in shaping her journey into a successful actress.
