Kartikeya Gummakonda’s ‘Comeback’.. Actor to Direct and Star in His New Film

Tollywood actor Kartikeya Gummakonda, who earned a strong fan base with ‘RX 100’, is making his return as a lead actor after a two-year gap. His upcoming film, titled ‘Comeback’, marks his debut as a director. The project was officially announced on September 21, coinciding with Kartikeya’s birthday, along with a special glimpse. Produced under Kartikeya Creative Works, the film is backed by his wife Lohitha Reddy.

The glimpse reveals Kartikeya in the role of a boxer, showcasing him training with skipping and boxing sessions. The voice-over hints at a character who has been away from the boxing world for three years before making his return. Vijay Bulganin has composed the background score, while Jagadish Cheekati handles cinematography, K.R. Kumar Manne is the production designer and Kalyan Suryaprakash is the editor. Kartikeya is serving as the writer, director and lead actor.
