Injury Wave Hits Tollywood

A series of injuries to leading Tollywood actors has become a major talking point in the film industry. Several stars, known for performing their own action sequences without relying on stunt doubles, have undergone surgeries after sustaining injuries during filming. Power Star Pawan Kalyan recently underwent shoulder surgery, while Nandamuri Balakrishna had knee surgery following an injury sustained during the shoot of NBK111. Both actors are currently recovering.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan also suffered a wrist injury while filming a wrestling sequence for Peddi and reportedly underwent surgery in Coimbatore. Meanwhile, Jr NTR is expected to take a short break after sustaining a shoulder injury. Fans have noted that both the Mega family duo Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan and the Nandamuri family duo Balakrishna and Jr NTR have been affected by injuries around the same time. While most projects are expected to continue as planned, NBK111 could reportedly see minor scheduling changes.
