The Delhi High Court has refused to stay the OTT release of Dhurandhar: The Revenge despite an ongoing copyright dispute involving the iconic Bollywood track Tirchi Topiwale from Tridev. Trimurti Films approached the court over alleged unauthorized usage of classic songs including Rang De Lal (Oye Oye) in Dhurandhar 2.
While declining interim relief, the Court directed Super Cassettes Industries (T-Series) to deposit ₹50 lakh within four weeks as a financial safeguard until the matter is fully resolved. The decision allows the film’s OTT release to continue and has reignited discussions around copyright protection and adaptation rights in the entertainment industry.
