Sreenu Vaitla and Sharwanand’s upcoming film George Krish has already been launched on a grand scale and is scheduled to hit theatres on January 14, 2027, during the Sankranti festive season. However, the announced release date has now become a topic of discussion in film circles. According to reports, the project may require more than 90 days of shooting, which could put considerable pressure on the production schedule. The team will have to complete the shoot and move swiftly into post-production to meet the announced deadline.
Apart from filming, the makers also need to allocate sufficient time for dubbing, song shoots, graphics, editing, censor formalities and promotional activities. A Sankranti release comes with intense competition, making an effective promotional campaign particularly important. With the film being viewed as an important project for Sreenu Vaitla, especially after a string of setbacks, the team will have to maintain a tight schedule to reach theatres on time. Whether George Krish will make it to cinemas as announced on January 14 remains something to watch.
