Varun Tej’s horror-comedy Korean Kanakaraju appears to be maintaining its momentum at the box office. The film, which released on August 7, witnessed a notable increase in ticket demand on its ninth day, which coincided with the Independence Day holiday. Reports indicate that more than 56,000 tickets were sold across BookMyShow and District, prompting additional shows in several locations. The strong response during the holiday has given the team a reason to remain optimistic about the film’s theatrical run.

The film is reportedly drawing particularly good demand in B and C centres. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, Korean Kanakaraju stars Varun Tej, Ritika Nayak and Satya, with Thaman S composing the music.
