In individuals with sleep deprivation, the hormone ghrelin increases, which leads to higher hunger levels. If this continues for a long period, it may lead to obesity, metabolic disorders and liver-related problems. To control this condition, experts recommend having a balanced diet 3–4 times a day, eating a light dinner, avoiding late sleeping habits and managing stress effectively.
