YSRCP Writes to SEC Seeking Central Forces for Local Body Elections

The YSRCP has approached the State Election Commission (SEC) seeking the deployment of central forces during the upcoming local body elections. MLC Lella Appireddy submitted a representation to the SEC, highlighting alleged irregularities during the previous local elections and seeking enhanced security arrangements to ensure a peaceful and transparent electoral process.

State Election Commissioner Anil Chandra Puneetha responded to the YSRCP’s representation and forwarded the party’s request to the Director General of Police (DGP) for further consideration. The move comes as political parties focus on security and law-and-order arrangements ahead of the local body polls.
