Will Vizag Steel Get New Strength ?

The Central Government is preparing a massive financial assistance package worth ₹8,097 crore for Visakhapatnam Steel Plant to strengthen its operations and improve long-term stability. The proposal has reportedly received approval from Union Steel Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy and has now been forwarded to the Finance Ministry for further clearance.

The proposed package is expected to support the revival of production activities and improve the operational capacity of the steel plant.
