

Telangana Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said the previous government had left the state with debts of nearly ₹8 lakh crore, but the present government is continuing to implement welfare schemes for every poor family despite financial challenges. Speaking after inaugurating a newly constructed CC road and a low level causeway worth ₹45 lakh at Manggayya Banjara village in Chandrugonda mandal, he said the government remains committed to fulfilling its promises.
The minister stated that 4.5 lakh Indiramma houses were sanctioned in the first phase and 2.5 lakh houses in the second phase, taking the total to 7 lakh houses. He also said 1 lakh Indiramma houses were approved for Hyderabad and assured that all eligible beneficiaries would receive houses in the upcoming phases without discrimination based on caste, religion, or political affiliation.
