Nayanthara Skips ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’ Event.. Fresh Discussion Begins Again!

Lady Superstar Nayanthara has often faced criticism for staying away from film promotional activities. However, she recently participated in the promotional events for ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’ and also attended the trailer launch of ‘Toxic’. Her appearances led fans to believe that she would become more actively involved in promoting her films. However, her absence from the pre-release event of ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’, titled ‘Mahashakti’ in Telugu, has once again become a topic of discussion. Her absence reportedly disappointed fans, while questions were raised about why she skipped an event for a film in which she is also a producer. The film’s team clarified that she could not attend because of her busy shooting schedule. Meanwhile, director Sundar C revealed that Nayanthara stayed away from non-vegetarian food during the film’s shoot.

‘Mookuthi Amman 2’ is among the big-budget projects being made in the Tamil film industry. The film is reportedly being produced on a budget of around ₹100 crore, with Vels International, Sundar C and Nayanthara backing the project. Directed by Sundar C, the film features Nayanthara in a dual role, while Regina Cassandra plays another important character. The much-anticipated film is scheduled to hit theatres on November 6.
