The family dispute involving actor and TVK president Vijay has taken a new turn in Chennai. His wife Sangeetha has approached the Chengalpattu Family Court seeking permission to stay in Vijay’s Neelankarai residence until the divorce case between them is concluded. In her interim petition, she stated that she has been facing serious difficulties in Chennai without a proper residence and requested the court to allow her to live in the Neelankarai house during the course of the case.
Sangeetha also claimed that Vijay, who earns crores, should provide what is rightfully due to her and their children. She said the Neelankarai house belongs equally to both of them and alleged that she was being threatened through a lawyer when she asked for permission to stay there. Reports suggest that after the divorce issue surfaced, the family has been living separately, with Sangeetha currently in London, their son Jason Sanjay staying in a rented flat in Ashok Nagar, and their daughter Dhivya Sasha residing in a hostel.
