US President Donald Trump has once again intensified his criticism of immigration, arguing that large-scale migration from poorer nations could negatively impact America’s future. In a post on Truth Social, Trump said that if people continue arriving in large numbers from economically weaker countries, the United States could face similar challenges and lose its economic strength. He reiterated his commitment to controlling immigration and pledged to make America strong again through stricter border and migration policies.
Trump also criticised a recent federal court decision that struck down a proposed $100,000 fee on H-1B visas. He accused federal judges of creating obstacles for his administration’s immigration agenda. Meanwhile, White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers stated that the H-1B visa programme has been misused for decades and that the Trump administration has introduced reforms to address these concerns. Rogers expressed confidence that future legal decisions would support the administration’s efforts to overhaul the programme.
