The United States has carried out fresh airstrikes targeting bridges in Iran's Hormozgan province, close to the strategically significant Strait of Hormuz. According to reports, the strikes were aimed at key supply routes leading to the port city of Bandar Abbas and a nearby Iranian naval base. Iranian authorities stated that at least three people were killed in the attacks.
The latest strikes are part of an expanded U.S. military campaign targeting critical infrastructure and logistics in Iran, further escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran. The Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's busiest oil shipping corridors, remains a vital route for global energy supplies. The developments have intensified concerns over regional stability and the potential impact on international oil markets.
