UP CM Yogi Adityanath Offers Prayers at Tirumala

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Tirumala temple on Monday evening and offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara. He entered the temple through the Vaikuntam Queue Complex and had darshan of the presiding deity. Later, Vedic scholars offered him Veda Ashirvachanam at the Ranganayakula Mandapam, following which TTD Additional Executive Officer C.H. Venkaiah Chowdary presented him with theertha prasadam. Yogi Adityanath said he prayed for the blessings of Lord Venkateswara to reach people across the country and appreciated TTD’s effective queue management, cleanliness and efforts to preserve the temple’s spiritual atmosphere.

On the occasion of Punarvasu Nakshatram, the UP Chief Minister also offered prayers to the processional deities of Sri Sita, Lakshmana and Sri Ramachandra Swamy. He said it was a matter of joy to have darshan of Lord Rama along with Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala, as part of the system established by Jagadguru Sri Ramanujacharya around 1,000 years ago. Tirumala Pedda Jeeyangar, Chinna Jeeyangar and chief priest Venu Gopala Dikshitulu were present. AP Minister Narayana, TTD Board member Bhanu Prakash Reddy, CVSO Murali Krishna, SP Subbarayudu and Deputy EO Bhaskar were also present during the visit.
