In a significant development, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has been allotted 15 acres of land in Bihar for the construction of a Lord Venkateswara temple. The proposed temple will be built near the banks of the Ganga River close to Patna, marking a major step in expanding spiritual infrastructure in North India. The initiative aims to bring the divine presence of Lord Venkateswara closer to devotees in the region.
TTD Chairman B R Naidu expressed gratitude to Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary for allocating the land and honored him with a sacred memento and shawl. He stated that this project is part of TTD’s broader vision to promote Sanatana Dharma across the country. The organization aims to establish Lord Venkateswara temples in all state capitals, strengthening spiritual outreach nationwide.
