TTD Issues Key Announcement for Tirumala Devotees

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has extended the suspension of Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) tokens issued to general devotees in Tirupati by another four days amid the ongoing Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams. The issuance of SSD tokens has been suspended from September 21 to 24, with tokens for darshan on September 25 scheduled to be issued on September 24.

The decision comes amid heavy pilgrim movement during the Brahmotsavams. On Monday morning, devotees were waiting in six compartments, while those without SSD tokens were expected to wait around six hours for Sarva Darshan, according to the information provided by TTD. The seventh day of the Brahmotsavams features the Suryaprabha Vahana procession at 8 am and the Chandraprabha Vahana procession at 7 pm. The Salakatla Brahmotsavams are being held from September 15 to 23.
