

Telangana has expressed its readiness to guide the industrial development of the Republic of Ghana, said IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu. He assured full support from the state government for the proposed Pharma Hub in Ghana. A high-level delegation led by Presidential Advisor Augustus Obuadum Tano met the minister at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat in Hyderabad. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral ties between Telangana and Ghana and exploring new areas of cooperation. The Ghana delegation also shared details about its ambitious 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development Programme along with plans for a Pharma Hub, seeking Telangana’s expertise and partnership.
Minister Sridhar Babu highlighted Telangana’s rapid industrial growth and its emergence as a global hub in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, electronics, aerospace, food processing, defence, and advanced manufacturing sectors. He explained the state’s “Ease of Doing Business” policies that have attracted global investments. He also offered Telangana’s expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing, vaccine production, research, and global supply chain management to support Ghana’s industrial and economic transformation. He assured that Telangana would act as a reliable partner in Ghana’s development journey.
