Srisailam EO Srinivasa Rao Clarifies on Salu Mandapam Tenders

Srisailam temple Executive Officer Srinivasa Rao has clarified the process related to tenders for the construction of Salu Mandapams under the “Shivam Marg” project, which is part of the temple’s development plan. He said the proposed Salu Mandapam construction is included in the draft master plan prepared in line with the vision of the Chief Minister. Since the project involves stone structures and may require more time for completion of the tender process, the tender notification was issued in advance as per rules.

The EO clarified that the final decision on the tender will be taken during the Dharmakartha Mandali meeting scheduled on the 28th of this month. He said further action will be based on the resolution passed after detailed discussions by the board members. The temple administration also stated that there is no external pressure or personal interest involved. Development works, including facilities for devotees and queue complex construction, are progressing in different phases.
