TTD Chairman BR Naidu said the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Navaratri Brahmotsavams were conducted successfully through the coordinated efforts of the TTD, district administration, police, priests, officials, employees, Srivari Sevaks and devotees. The celebrations were held from October 12 to 20, with devotees provided opportunities to witness the vahana sevas and have darshan of the presiding deity. Despite heavy rain on Garuda Seva day, arrangements were made to provide refreshments and food to devotees. Between October 12 and 19, around 6.46 lakh devotees had darshan, while hundi offerings amounted to ₹25.79 crore. The temple distributed 22.60 lakh servings of annaprasadam, 2.44 lakh devotees offered their hair, and 34.34 lakh laddus were sold during the eight-day period.
The celebrations featured cultural performances by artists from 26 states, Qatar and Dubai, along with elaborate floral and electrical decorations. Around 60 tonnes of flowers, five lakh cut flowers and 80,000 seasonal flowers were used for decorations, while 36 large digital screens enabled devotees to watch the vahana sevas. APSRTC buses and electric vehicles provided transport facilities, while medical teams, ambulances and mobile clinics supported devotees. Thousands of police and vigilance personnel were deployed for security, and special sanitation arrangements were made, including the collection and segregation of approximately 183 tonnes of wet and dry waste on Garuda Seva day. Naidu thanked everyone who contributed to the successful conduct of the festivities and the media for bringing the celebrations to devotees worldwide.
