Tanvi, the sister of Telangana native Kuncha Anshul (28), who was murdered in Philadelphia, USA, alleged that a fake pizza order was placed as part of a planned trap to kill her brother. Speaking to the media, she said Anshul was sent to a house where no one lived, under the pretext of delivering a pizza, and was subsequently killed. She stated that the family has no suspicion against any particular individual but urged authorities to identify and punish those responsible.
Expressing deep grief, Tanvi appealed to parents not to send their children abroad without careful consideration. She said Anshul had been living in the United States for the past four years and requested authorities to expedite the return of his mortal remains to India. Meanwhile, Philadelphia Police announced a reward of 20,000 US dollars for information leading to the arrest of the suspects. The Indian Consulate General in New York expressed condolences to the family and assured all possible assistance.
