The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is gearing up for another important space mission, with preparations underway to launch the GSLV-F18 rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota in Tirupati district on October 30. The mission aims to place the NVS-03 navigation satellite into orbit, further strengthening India’s indigenous navigation capabilities. Scientists are working to complete the necessary preparations and technical checks ahead of the scheduled launch.
According to information from ISRO sources, the three stages of the rocket have been integrated at the Vehicle Assembly Building at Sriharikota. The rocket is being moved to the second launch pad, where scientists are conducting various technical tests and other pre-launch procedures. The launch is expected to take place at 11:55 p.m. on October 30. The mission has generated interest as it is intended to enhance the country’s navigation services. If successful, it will mark another significant step forward for India’s space programme.
