Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Uttar Pradesh and Odisha today, where he will participate in several important programmes in Varanasi and Bhubaneswar. In Varanasi, the Prime Minister is set to attend an aerial display at Namo Ghat under the theme “Wings Over Ganga”. The special event is being organised in connection with the 94th anniversary of the Indian Air Force, highlighting the force’s achievements and its role in safeguarding the country. The programme is expected to offer a striking display of aerial capabilities against the backdrop of the Ganga.
During his visit to Varanasi, Modi is also scheduled to inaugurate a new garment manufacturing facility aimed at supporting the textile industry, particularly women led manufacturing initiatives. The facility is expected to create opportunities for women and strengthen local garment production. The initiative also seeks to connect Varanasi’s textile products with international markets, expanding their reach beyond the domestic market. Later, in Bhubaneswar, the Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate a new data centre of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The centre is expected to support the RBI’s data infrastructure and strengthen its technological capabilities.
