A ticket-related dispute at Renigunta Railway Station in Andhra Pradesh reportedly turned into a tense situation after a passenger travelling on the Kerala Express was deboarded for travelling in a reserved coach with a general ticket. Following the incident, the passenger reportedly tried contacting the railway helpline but felt that his concern had not been addressed.
The situation escalated when the passenger climbed onto the railway flyover and reportedly moved towards the high-voltage electrical wires. Railway officials immediately responded by switching off the power supply as a precautionary measure. GRP, RPF and fire personnel reached the spot and coordinated efforts to bring the passenger down safely. Train operations were reportedly affected for several hours, causing inconvenience to other passengers. The incident, which began with a ticket dispute, eventually required a coordinated emergency response from multiple railway and security personnel.
