

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the terminal building of Bhogapuram International Airport and formally dedicated the airport to the nation. The event was attended by Governor S. Abdul Nazeer, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu. The Prime Minister spent nearly 15 minutes inspecting the newly built terminal and reviewing its facilities.
Following the inauguration, Prime Minister Modi travelled in an open-top vehicle to witness a record-breaking Thimsa dance performance featuring around 13,500 participants. The cultural presentation highlighted the rich tribal heritage of Andhra Pradesh. As a mark of respect, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu presented the Prime Minister with the traditional Bobbili Veena during the ceremony.
