

The central government has constituted a high-power task force under the leadership of Nandan Nilekani to bring comprehensive reforms in examinations conducted by the National Testing Agency. The panel includes former ISRO Chairman S. Somanath, former IB Director Tapan Deka, IIT Madras Director V. Kamakoti, and former Education Secretary Anita Karwal among others. The primary objective of the task force is to strengthen the examination system with reliability and advanced technology.
The task force will focus on enhancing transparency and efficiency in the examination process through technological integration. It aims to recommend reforms that ensure a smooth and trustworthy system for students. By improving security standards and establishing clear guidelines, the panel seeks to address existing challenges and modernize the overall examination framework.
