Journalist Anjana Om Kashyap and TV Today Network have approached the Delhi High Court with a ₹2 crore civil defamation suit against educator Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, along with several other individuals and entities. The case arises from a public controversy linked to discussions surrounding the NEET examination system and allegations made on various digital platforms.
According to the petition, the plaintiffs have sought the removal of allegedly defamatory videos, social media posts, and comments that were circulated between May 30 and June 4. They contend that the content damaged Anjana Om Kashyap's professional reputation and have also requested ₹2 crore in damages. The plea further seeks directions to platforms including YouTube, X, and Meta-owned services to remove the disputed content and prevent the publication of similar material in the future. The matter is expected to be heard by a vacation bench of the Delhi High Court, while the allegations remain subject to judicial scrutiny.
