Massive Solar Complex in Tirupati District with an Investment of Rs. 3,538 Crore

Further boosting the renewable energy sector in Andhra Pradesh, WebSol company is set to establish a large-scale solar manufacturing complex in the MP-SEZ of Tirupati district with a significant investment. They have announced the development of this integrated solar complex with a capacity of 8 GW at an estimated cost of approximately Rs. 3,538 crore. The project will include manufacturing units for 4 GW of solar cells and 4 GW of solar modules.

The project will be developed in two phases across a total area of ​​120 acres, creating employment opportunities for approximately 2,000 people. Additionally, a 100 MW captive solar power plant will be established on 300 acres to supply the necessary electricity to the complex. Officials express optimism that this project will further accelerate the development of green energy in the state.
