TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud has warned that any attempts to illegally remove votes under the ‘Special Intensive Revision’ (SIR) of electoral rolls will be strongly opposed. He alleged that in West Bengal, 31 lakh votes were added while 93 lakh votes were deleted, raising serious concerns. He pointed out that the Trinamool Congress recently lost by a margin of just 30 lakh votes, highlighting the importance of transparency in voter list revisions.
Goud also stated that the delay in paddy procurement in Telangana was due to increased production. He added that his performance would be assessed by the AICC or the Chief Minister and clarified that any decision regarding a change in PCC leadership rests with the AICC. He recalled that K C Venugopal had stated that the Telangana PCC is considered one of the best by the AICC.
