A job scam targeting unemployed youth came to light near the Telangana Secretariat in Hyderabad. According to reports, a fraudster allegedly collected large sums of money from job seekers by promising government jobs in the Panchayat Raj Department. The accused reportedly convinced several candidates that they had secured employment opportunities through his influence.
The scam was exposed when the accused called one of the victims to the Secretariat and handed over a fake appointment letter. He then allegedly demanded money to be withdrawn from an ATM and handed over to him. Suspicious activity was noticed by SPF police personnel stationed at the Secretariat, who immediately intervened and detained the accused. Further investigation into the case is underway.
