YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has criticised the certificate verification process in the DSC recruitment, questioning what the government achieved by conducting verification in seven stages. He alleged that the future of unemployed candidates had been turned into a game and raised questions over the effectiveness of the verification process. Jagan shared three case studies in a social media post to highlight alleged irregularities.
In the first case, Jagan claimed that names mentioned in a merit list could not be found when checked. In the second case, he said officials connected with kho-kho reportedly stated that a submitted certificate was fake. In the third case, he claimed that an inquiry with Acharya Nagarjuna University revealed that the sports event mentioned in a certificate had not even taken place. Jagan questioned where and what the government actually verified in the seven-stage process and alleged that such lapses had led to irregularities in the DSC recruitment. He also asked Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu whether he would take moral responsibility for the issue.
