Iran Announces Funeral Dates of Former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei

The Iranian government has officially announced the funeral schedule of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. According to the statement, Khamenei reportedly passed away on February 28 following an airstrike, with earlier funeral arrangements delayed due to wartime conditions.

As per the revised schedule, a three-day public viewing will be held in Tehran from July 4. Special ceremonies will take place in Qom on July 7, while the final rites will be conducted on July 9 in Mashhad, near the Imam Reza shrine, his birthplace.
