During the construction of the Nagarjunasagar balancing reservoir, four families from submerged hamlets traveled by bullock carts in search of a new settlement and finally chose a location by dawn. This place later came to be known as Teldevrapally, located in Chandampet mandal of Nalgonda district.
For nearly 25 years, the village struggled without roads and electricity, but post-1984, with the introduction of basic infrastructure and education, it transformed significantly. Today, with a population of around 4,000, many residents hold key positions in government and private sectors, while others have moved abroad. Villagers plan to install statues of founders Hanjya and Gansing.
