Indrakeeladri Ghat Road to Take a Break During Dasara

The Indrakeeladri Ghat Road will remain closed for a week as repair works are being taken up ahead of the Dasara festivities. Durga Temple Executive Officer V.K. Sheena Naik said the ghat road would be completely closed to traffic from the morning of September 22. Vehicles will not be allowed on the route for a week, and devotees have been advised to reach the temple through the Sri Kanaka Durganagar route. Parking facilities have been arranged at Punnami Ghat for devotees arriving from the Hyderabad side, along with free bus services from Punnami Ghat to the temple.

For devotees arriving from Visakhapatnam, Chennai and other areas towards One Town, parking has been arranged near Seethamma Vari Paadalu. Free bus services will also be available from the parking area to the temple. Sheena Naik said free transportation would be provided from the designated parking areas to the temple for the convenience of devotees and urged visitors to make use of the facilities.
