Hyderabad food safety authorities carried out inspections in Attapur and uncovered four food manufacturing units operating without the required licences. During the inspections, officials found samosas and pani puri being prepared in highly unhygienic conditions, violating food safety regulations. The units were immediately sealed to prevent the distribution of unsafe food products.
The crackdown is part of an ongoing drive to identify and shut down illegal food production centres across Hyderabad. Officials urged food business operators to comply with safety standards and obtain valid permissions, warning that strict action will continue against those endangering public health through unhygienic food preparation.
