Humid Weather Grips Telangana; Rain and Thunderstorm Alert Issued

Telangana is expected to witness hot and humid weather conditions today, with maximum temperatures likely to reach 37°C in several districts. According to weather forecasts, the combination of heat and humidity may cause discomfort across the state, particularly during the daytime hours.

Meteorological officials have predicted light rain accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds during the evening in Hyderabad and several other districts. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Yellow Alert for Telangana until June 17. Weather experts further indicate that rainfall activity may intensify between June 18 and June 24, with the possibility of widespread heavy showers across the state.
