The Telangana High Court came down heavily on HYDRA officials over alleged interference in Army-owned land at Lothukunta during the hearing of a land-related case. The court observed that defence land should not be disturbed without proper authority and instructed the Army to take HYDRA officials or police personnel into custody if they attempt to enter the premises unlawfully. The court also reiterated its earlier observations made during the previous hearing.
The bench noted that it had already warned officials against entering the disputed Army land just two days earlier. Stressing the importance of protecting defence property, the High Court asked Army authorities to immediately inform the court if any further attempts are made to interfere with the land. The case has once again highlighted concerns over jurisdiction and the protection of defence establishments.
