Heavy Rains Intensify in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

The weather department has forecast moderate to heavy rains in Telangana, with yellow alerts issued for several districts. Hyderabad and other areas may receive showers accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds reaching up to 40 kmph. Officials advised people to remain cautious during the weather conditions.

Several parts of Andhra Pradesh are also likely to witness rainfall today. Districts including Alluri Sitarama Raju, Manyam, Polavaram, Konaseema and both Godavari districts may receive thunderstorms with lightning. Scattered rains are expected in other districts across the state.
