Flood inflows into the Jurala Project have increased significantly following heavy upstream rainfall. Authorities have lifted 27 gates to release excess water downstream and manage the rising reservoir level. The project is currently receiving an inflow of 1,79,000 cusecs, while 1,77,105 cusecs are being discharged.
The full reservoir level (FRL) of the project is 318.516 metres, and the present water level stands at 317.75 metres. Meanwhile, all 11 power generation units are operating, producing a total of 434 MW of electricity.
