HC to Hear Rega Kantha Rao's Plea Today

Former BRS MLA Rega Kantha Rao has approached the Telangana High Court seeking the quashing of the FIR registered against him. The High Court is scheduled to hear his petition today. The case has drawn significant attention in political circles.

An FIR was registered against Rega Kantha Rao at Panjagutta Police Station in Hyderabad on the 26th of this month following a complaint by a woman. She alleged that she was called to a flat under the pretext of discussing a YouTube channel and was sexually harassed on the promise of marriage. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case and initiated an investigation. Rega Kantha Rao has challenged the FIR before the High Court.
