Harvard University Executive Education Courses to Begin in Hyderabad from December: CM Revanth Reddy

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has announced that Harvard University will offer executive education courses in Hyderabad from December as part of the state’s efforts to develop a global knowledge hub. He made the announcement during a meeting with a delegation of UK business schools at the MCR HRD Institute. The meeting was attended by UK House of Lords member Karan Bilimoria, British Council Director Janaka Pushpanathan, Chartered Association of Business Schools CEO Flora Hamilton and around 30 representatives from UK universities and related institutions.

Reddy said the government was developing an Education Hub in Bharat Future City and was working towards facilitating offshore campuses of institutions such as MIT and Purdue in Hyderabad. He said partnerships with Harvard, MIT, the University of London, Virginia Tech and Northeastern University could cover executive programmes, dual degrees, faculty training and research. The Chief Minister said Bharat Future City, spread across nearly 30,000 acres, was being developed as a net-zero greenfield smart city with initiatives including the Young India Skills University and an Education Hub. He also invited UK education leaders to the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026 in December and reiterated the state’s targets of becoming a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047.
